Brother House from 1804 to Today

The Brother House was built by Jeffrey Wyatt for John William Edgerton, the Earl of Bridgewater, who was the Master of the Hospital of God at Greatham from 1785 to 1823.

The Brother House is currently part of the residential care home for older people. When the new home, Stichell House, is completed it is planned that this historic building will be converted to almshouses.
