We have the following vacancies available:


37 hours per week (MON-SUN), £7.75 ph
Based in Seaham Day Centre you will be part of the team caring for older people with dementia. The post holder will be responsible for driving the Charity mini bus each day, collecting guests from their own home to attend Seaham Day Centre. Once at the day centre the post holder will carry out a care assistant’s role. At the end of each day guests will be escorted onto the mini bus and taken home. This is a fantastic opportunity, the post holder will need to be motivated and enthusiastic in providing a good experience for people with dementia using and working in these facilities.
  • Qualifications preferable: Level 2 in Direct Care, however qualifications are not essential as full training will be given
  • Full clean driver’s licence
  • MIDAS and other in house training will be given
  • Enhanced DBS required and will be paid for by the Employer
